Global Head of FX Sales, Cboe

Sean Cleary is Global Head of FX Sales for Cboe FX. Mr. Cleary oversees all sales activities globally including pricing, marketing, product development, product integration, and vendor integration. He has been integral in the expansion of the Cboe FX product offering beyond spot, including forwards and NDFs. In addition to his role as Head of Sales, Mr. Cleary is a member of the Cboe SEF Committee and Cboe Charity Committee.

With a degree in Computer Information Systems, Mr. Cleary began his career in finance writing proprietary programs for early HFT adopters. From programming, he transitioned into trading equities, options, and US Treasuries for a small proprietary firm in Chicago. From there, Mr. Cleary moved to NYC, beginning a 13-year tenure in various FX roles at firms including competing platforms EBS and Currenex.

Mr. Cleary holds a BS in CIS from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.
