A key part of FISD’s mission is to help enhance the talent pipeline for our member firms by facilitating their efforts to attract and retain the highest quality workforce. As part of that mandate, FISD provides services to support gender equity. By far our most popular initiative is Women’s Group, an event series which provides exposure to senior management and comfortable networking opportunities.


The FISD Women’s Group was founded in 2012 and holds regular events in London and New York, and from time to time in Hong Kong, Sydney, Singapore, Toronto,  Tokyo, and virtually.

Speaker Bureau

FISD encourages women and other individuals from underrepresented groups to sign up for our Speaker’s Bureau so our program managers can consider you for relevant speaking opportunities at our member events. Many well-known financial information luminaries have gotten their start in public speaking on FISD panels.

Gender Equity Goals

FISD regularly reports to our Executive Committee about how we are doing with gender equity amongst speakers on our event programs. Our goal is to move ever closer to parity.
