Marc currently serves as Head Exchange Data Strategy in the Business Unit Markets of SIX, one of the leading securities market operators in Europe. Securing sound commercial offering and intellectual property rights policy over SIX data is a central focus area of Marc’s portfolio. In recent years he drove the modernization of The Swiss Stock Exchange market data dissemination infrastructure, improving latency and scalability. Marc is active in some prominent market data standardisation initiatives. He’s Co-Chairing the FIX Market Model Typology (MMT) Technical Committee. Most market operators and data vendors have recently widely implemented the MMT data standard in their data feeds and display terminals. Marc is additionally contributes to the FESE Market Data Expert Group and is Vice-Chairman of the WFE Exchange and CCP Statistics Working Group. Marc graduated in Economics and holds various industry certifications with strong focus on data management from EDM Council, ICMA, FISD.
