Join Us in Sydney

We’re back – and very much looking forward to meeting everyone in person in Sydney on September 15 at the Morningstar office in Barangaroo! In addition to a great venue we have some juicy content topics:

A controversial discussion of ESG – with particular focus on Australia funds data and corporate dynamics in the Australia ESG market.
Fixed Income is the latest asset class to see a growth in algorithmic trading in APAC. What took so long?
How to harness the power of cloud for the next generation of market data challenges:
Please tell your APAC colleagues. No travel/testing restrictions in Australia! Ask them to get in touch with scott@saquishpartners.com if they need help to register for the event.

Kick-off to Fall in NYC

Join us by kicking off the official first day of fall at our next in-person NYC Issue Brief on Thursday, September 22nd kindly hosted by Morgan Stanley! We are busy planning the program but here are some highlights:

A lively panel discussion about how the index data world is growing faster than ever due to the rapidly changing marketplace, new use cases, and the ever-increasing amount of data.
An update on the latest developments on the consolidated tape front
A welcome introduction to some of our newest FISD members and an overview on various initiatives that are occurring under the FISD umbrella.
The evening will end with a networking reception to further discuss the topics as well as share some of your favorite summer stories with your industry colleagues. If you have any issues registering or any questions, please contact Courtney McGuinn, FISD Program and Project Director (Americas).

Service Level & Communications Group to Review Best Practices

The Service Level & Communications working group focuses on data providers’ communication and product management practices. The next meeting of this working group will occur on September 8. The main focus of the agenda will be on Sections 7 and 8 of the Service Level & Communications Best Practices document – looking at industry adherence to the recommendations and potential changes to the document. This working group is open to all FISD members. Please let Tom Davin know if you would like to join the meeting or have questions.
