Copenhagen, Denmark, October 14, 2026 — Today, at the closing of the World Financial Information Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, FISD, the Financial Information Services Association of SIIA, announced that Tracey Shumpert will become Managing Director effective January 1, 2027. Tom Davin, who has led FISD as Managing Director for 22 years, will move into a senior director role.

For over two decades, Davin built the systems, processes, and team that enabled FISD to increase its membership by over 300% and become the premier organization where the financial information ecosystem gathers, learns, and finds solutions to common challenges. In his new role, he will continue to work closely with members and FISD leadership on the expansion of member services.

“FISD is in a strong position, and Tracey is the right person to lead it forward,” said Davin. “I’m looking forward to spending time on strategic initiatives where I can make a big difference for our members.”

Shumpert has been with FISD for 12 years. As Vice President of Membership, Programs & Operations she has significantly grown FISD’s key revenue streams, including membership and sponsorship, as well as leading the FISD Alternative Data Council, the Women’s Group & Allies program and the World Financial Information Conference.

“It would be impossible to overstate Tom’s ongoing contributions to FISD. He stewarded the organization through the global financial crisis, the Covid-19 pandemic, and facilitated FISD’s growth into the flourishing global association that it is today. I’m thrilled he’ll remain a critical part of it,” said Shumpert. “Our members are at the forefront of the information age, and my goal is to ensure that FISD continues to provide the services that help them thrive in this complex and highly dynamic environment.”

“Tom’s leadership has shaped FISD into what it is today,” said Chris Mohr, President of SIIA. “His deep expertise in the financial information ecosystem and his remarkable ability to bring different stakeholders together for productive dialogue are rare, and I’m grateful FISD and its members will continue to benefit from them in his new role. I have deep respect for Tracey and great appreciation for everything she has done to grow the organization. In my mind, there is no better person to take FISD to the next level.”
