A generic conversation exploring the concept of ‘Disruption’ and its kissing cousin ‘Innovation’. The Market Data industry operates with a lot of inertia and many say that we are discussing the same issues that we were discussing years ago. Where do we see the status quo (the norm if you will) being disrupted? Disruption as a word has a destructive tone to it. Innovation feels like a more constructive concept – are they the same or different? Where is disruption and/or innovation taking place in our industry? Who is doing it? How are they doing it?
