Peggy Sullivan

Peggy Sullivan is a Senior Policy Advisor with the Division of Trading & Markets at the Securities & Exchange Commission. Before joining the SEC, she was Chief of Staff at Vela Trading Systems overseeing the firm’s partnerships and advising on market structure developments. Prior to Vela, Sullivan worked at the New York Stock Exchange for almost 20 years. She left the US exchange operator in May 2017 after holding various senior positions in operations and market data roles ranging from the National Market System (the Consolidated Tape) and as the Head of Market Data Administration. She additionally served in account and client support roles early in her career at Credit Suisse First Boston, Dow Jones Telerate and Merrill Lynch.
