Kelvin Thomson has over 21 year’s consulting experience in treasury technology as well as market data environments across Europe and Africa.
He currently heads up TKA Consulting – who are not only the largest provider of trader voice services in South Africa but also specializing in unique Market Data solutions to the wider African financial markets.
The core of his experience stems from decades of IT and project management experience in the wholesale, interbank markets with projects across Africa with Inter-Dealer Broker ICAP. He also spent a year with Dutch specialist treasury consultancy, Screen Consultants, undertaking Market Data consulting projects in the Benelux region. He has also held the position of Compliance Officer registered with the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
His passion and expertise see him leading unique solutions that bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions – where effective consulting strives to understand complex business challenges to ensure the design and delivery of real solutions for clients.
Kelvin holds a B.Banking Degree from the University of South Africa and is a registered Prince 2 Practitioner and is a FISD Professional certification holder.
