Mr. Jean-Marc Bonnefous is Chief Commercial Officer at Clearmatics, a London-based core blockchain infrastructure company. He is also the founder and managing partner of Tellurian Capital, a London based investment management firm focused on the commodity and technology sectors. Before founding Tellurian he was an investment banker at BNP Paribas where he managed the global commodity derivative trading business from 1995 to 2006. Jean-Marc is a professor adjunct for the master in finance at the IE business school in Madrid, Spain.
Alexandra Boyle
Sales Director EMEA, OpenFin
Alexandra is responsible for OpenFin’s strategic enterprise sales and business development across EMEA. In this role she works directly with clients to apply the OpenFin solution to client digital transformation and workflow optimisation initiatives, collaborating with a wide number of financial services vendors. Prior to OpenFin, Alexandra was in strategic sales at NYSE Technologies, the commercial technology division of NYSE Euronext, specialising in high frequency data, co-location services and pre-trade risk solutions. She attended Lehigh University in the USA and holds a BS in Finance.
Lee Braine
Investment Bank CTO Office, Barclays
Lee Braine, from the investment bank chief technology office at Barclays, has a deep interest in technology innovation. His current focus is distributed ledgers, blockchain and smart contracts. He represents Barclays Investment Bank on several distributed ledger consortia and is the co-author of academic papers on smart contracts. His background is in investment banking, clearing and settlement, stock exchanges, corporate banking, payments, and wealth management. He has a PhD in Computer Science from University College London.
Richard Burtsal
Sales Director, InFront
Richard has more than 30 years’ financial services experience in sales and marketing, from both the buy-side and the sell side of the market, with companies such as Thomson, The LSE and Linedata. He joined Infront, an established information and trading solutions provider, in 2015 with the opening of the London office to build new markets in the UK.
Tom Davin
Managing Director, FISD
Tom Davin is Managing Director, Financial Information Services Association (FISD) of the SIIA. FISD is the global, neutral forum for the financial information industry with a diverse membership that includes major market data vendors, exchanges, technology providers, and the financial institutions that utilize financial data products. Tom works closely with FISD members to identify major issues and seek opportunities to bring the financial information industry together to discuss and resolve those issues. FISD conducts regular membership events in North America, Europe, Asia, Brazil, and Australia and hosts the biennial World Financial Information Conference – the premiere global industry conference for financial information professionals.
Jon Eckfeld
Global Head of Market Data, IRESS
Jon is Global Head of Market Data at IRESS, a leading supplier of technology to the financial market and wealth management industry across the globe. Jon supports the fully integrated, end to end investment management and trading experience for market data including: Content Acquisition, Data Operations, Product Development, Commercial Relationships and Compliance. Before re-joining IRESS in 2016 Jon held Global Product Management roles at Liquidnet and REDI in New York, and previously worked with IRESS in Melbourne and Toronto. He holds a BA (Hons) in Japanese and BComm in Economics.
John Mattingley
Director, The Harry Corporation Ltd.
John comes with a wealth of experience from over thirty years in capital markets and technology. Formerly Sales and Marketing Director at Logica, latterly he is also an advocate for the cloud based utility model of delivering services to the capital markets industry. John says that all markets are at a transitional period in which shifting global forces and technology are completely reshaping the landscape and in particular that of market data services.
Nick Merritt
Program Director, FISD
Nick joined FISD in May 2007 and works with members focused on anti-piracy of market data, data provider contract licenses and policies as well as communication among participants in the market data industry. In addition, he serves as the primary point of contact for the Data Vendor Constituent Group and the Index Forum Group. Prior to joining FISD Nick was employed with the American Bankers Association from 2002-2007 and with The NASDAQ Stock Market from 1987 – 2001 where he served as Senior Director Issuer Services. Nick holds a BA from The University of Mississippi and an MBA from The George Washington University.
Claire Pons

Claire Pons manages EMEA exchanges within Content Acquisition and Rights Management (CARM) at Thomson Reuters. CARM is responsible for commercial and contractual relationships with exchanges and other third party content providers globally as well as facilitating Thomson Reuters’ compliance with its third party content providers agreements. Claire Pons joined Thomson Reuters in 1996 and holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations as well as a Degree in Translation (University of Strasbourg, France)
Carl Schonander
Senior Vice President for Global Public Policy, SIIA
Carl Schonander is the Software & Information Industry Association’s (SIIA) Senior Vice President for Global Public Policy. He advocates for SIIA’s international policy interests. Those interests include the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the Digital Single Market, China, cross-border data flows, intellectual property, trade, privacy, and Internet governance. Schonander was part of a coalition of industry groups that worked successfully to develop consensus industry support for the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, as well as congressional support for legislation needed to obtain EU support for the Shield. Schonander was a member of the Atlantic Council’s Task Force on Advancing a Transatlantic Digital Agenda, which released the report: “Building a Transatlantic Digital Marketplace: Twenty Steps Toward 2020.” He participated in an international group charged with providing recommendations for enhancing the accountability of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Schonander is a former U.S. diplomat. He has a Master of Law degree in Intellectual Property Rights from George Washington University, Masters Degree in Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, and a JD from the University of Stockholm.

Sallianne Taylor
Global Manager, Market Structure and Strategic Alliances, Bloomberg L.P.
Sallianne Taylor is the Global Head of Bloomberg’s Market Structure & Strategic Alliances team. The Market Structure Strategy team focuses on positioning Bloomberg in the optimal space as regulation and politics drive the development of the financial markets. Key to the successes of the group are the relationships forged with the prominent market players in this space – namely the exchanges, the clearing houses and the regulators, together with an in-depth understanding of the needs of Bloomberg’s clients, today and more importantly in the future. Sallianne joined Bloomberg in 1989 and has held positions within Sales, Trading Solutions and Product Development. Prior to heading the Market Structure Strategy team, Sallianne was Global Manager of Exchange Business Management where she oversaw Bloomberg’s relationships with the exchanges and trading venues. Sallianne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Italian from Royal Holloway and Bedford New College (University of London) . She represents Bloomberg on the executive committee of the FISD (Financial Information Services Division of the Software & Information Industry Association), is Co-Chair of the FISD Vendor Constituency Group and is a member of the Sustainable Stock Exchange Initiative Corporate Working Group. She also holds a seat on the ESMA (European Securities & Markets Authority) Market Data Working Group.
David Tibbetts
UK Managing Director, Web Financial Group
After completing a Business and Economics degree, David started his City Career at Telerate in 1987 where he ran Support and Account Management prior to leaving in 1994 to become an Account Director at the London Stock Exchange. Sales Management roles followed at Braid Systems and Mercator Software as well as MD of Singularity UK, before David returned to Market Data vending at Proquote becoming MD and CEO in 2010 of the business which was wholly owned by the LSE. David helped sell Proquote, whose growth had seen it host and manage the leading RSP trading network, as well as having a significant footprint of market data ‘terminals’ in the UK, to IRESS in 2015, becoming UK Head of Financial Markets and a Group Exec member. Late summer 2017 saw David become UK Managing Director of Web Financial Group, who democratise access to market-moving information for financial organisations, investors and media outlets through digital solutions for the integration, presentation, and promotion of market news and financial data.
