Vjay Choudhary

Vijay is an accomplished product leader with over 15+ years of experience in building software and API products in the financial services industry. Vijay is the product brain behind several of the recent product launches at Xignite. Prior to Xignite, Vijay was with a buy-side technology firm Charles River where he held several different roles across Product/Engineering (Boston) and Client Management (Singapore). At Charles River, he helped establish product strategy and led the development of a new wealth management product for multi-strategy investments in the Charles River Investment Management Solution. Vijay also built and released several key features in Charles River Order and Execution Management System (OMS/EMS) for both Equities and Fixed Income Trading. Prior to Charles River, Vijay was with Goldman Sachs in the New York headquarters. Vijay joined Goldman Sachs right after graduate school at MIT in 2004 and drove several technology-driven product initiatives for the investment banking business.
Vijay holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay and Master of Science from MIT. Vijay is also an MBA from Boston University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Doug Munn
Head of Enterprise Real-Time Feed Propositions, Refinitiv
Douglas Munn joined Thomson Reuters in as Sales Specialist and managed the sales of the emerging desktop applications. Doug then moved into Major Account Sales and was named to the Chairman’s Club in 1996 as one of the top salespeople globally. In this role he was responsible for enterprise solution sales of data, technology and transaction systems to Canada’s top banking customers. Doug’s expertise in technical sales enabled him to design and ultimately lead the redesign of the Toronto Stock Exchange (Torex) order management and execution system. In 1997, Doug transferred to New York to manage sales in North America for the IMS/Enterprise division.
Currently, Doug has been the Head of Elektron Real Time for the past four years. During this time he led the group to upgrade of global infrastructure from our legacy IDN network and RDF delivery platform to our new Elektron network. After the successful completion of the upgrade, Doug has focused our Elektron Team to launching new technical delivery platforms across the Internet (Connect) and focus the team on the development and delivery of new data sources to meet the needs of the every evolving customer demand. The addition to the new data and simplified delivery options (including delivery over Internet and to Cloud users) for customers has opened the market to new customers globally.
Prior to his work with Elektron, Doug was a Global Technology Manager since 1999 working with our Strategic Accounts such as Bank of America and Morgan Stanley, Citi and Goldman Sachs. In addition to this managing many Enterprise products such as Triarch, RDF, Kobra, Eikon and Reuters Plus, Doug spearheaded Reuters engagement by launching the Procare service at our major customers and implemented a number of service improvement projects that resulted in a large increase in overall customer satisfaction. He was awarded the CEO circle of excellence award in 2007 based on his results.
Doug was born in Toronto. He is married with two children, aged 18 and 16. He is an avid golfer and sailor, and enjoys hockey and skiing.
Yan Shih
Director of Asia Operations, CJC
Yan Shih is the Director of Operations for CJC Asia, focusing on consulting and managed services within the Market Data and Financial Technologies domain. Based in Hong Kong, he has over 12 years of experience in the Market Data space in both the infrastructure management and commercial areas. As part of the Goldman Sachs graduate program Yan worked in one of the first Market Data teams established in Hong Kong, and thereafter moved to Barclays Capital and then the Macquarie Group where he was the head of Market Data Technology in Asia. Prior to joining CJC he held the role of Client Director at Marketprizm specializing in low latency market data and hosting solutions. Yan holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
