Director, European/APAC Operations, The Roberts Group

David manages business development, account management and operations for regions outside of North America. Joining The Roberts Group (TRG) early in 2003 to set up the London office, he currently manages TRG’s clients and analyst teams across EMEA and APAC.

After leaving university as a qualified Marine Biologist, David has been working in finance technology for over twenty years.

Naturally gravitating into roles straddling the gap between IT and the business, David has worked extensively with trading and market data system deployment, management, and development. Progressing through the baptism of trade floor support, to senior dealing room technical and business analyst roles at Barclays, he subsequently moved to the vendor side at MISYS and as a developer and consultant.
Since joining The Roberts Group David and his teams have worked closely with clients across the globe to help them implement best practices and processes around Market Data Administration, and to help them effectively manage and reduce spiraling Market Data costs. This in depth experience of the challenges faced in Market Data has helped shape TRG’s SaaS Inventory Management Tool, FITS, into the industry’s solution of choice.
