Manon Amyot-Lake

Manon Amyot-Lake is Director, Head of Global Market Data Service at BMO Capital Markets. Previously – Director and Global Head, Market Data Solutions for RBC. Prior to this, Manon worked in a variety of roles including Corporate Trainer, Credit Analyst, Director of Sales, and for a variety of large firms including Imperial Oil, GE Capital, Standard & Poor’s and CIBC. Manon holds a B.A.and B.Ed.from York University in Toronto, as well as being a certified FISD Financial Information Associate (FIA). Based in Toronto, she is fluent in both English and French.

David Anderson

Program Director, FISD/Atradia

David Anderson is a well know market data consultant. He has worked in the market data industry since 1984 – including roles with Telerate, Bishopsgate Systems and from 1989 13 years with Reuters culminating in various global marketing roles; in respect of market data systems (e.g. Triarch and RMDS). Since January 2002 David has been operating Atradia (www.atradia.com), a management consultancy practice focused on the market data industry. He has been quoted commenting on the market data industry in major publications. David edited the respected annual ‘IMD Reference’ book between 2003 and 2009. He instigated the SIIA/FISD initiative to create a professional certification program for market data practitioners. David also acts as a Program Director for a variety of other FISD activities including EMEA focussed events; the Exchange Constituent Group (ECG); the FISD Technology Forum; the FISD Buy Side Group; and the FISD Cloud Working Group. David and Atradia operate from the glorious countryside of West Sussex UK.

Don Callahan

Global Head of Market Data Infrastructure, HSBC

Don has been Global Head of Market Data Infrastructure at HSBC for many years. Prior to joining HSBC Don held market data roles at Republic National Bank and JP Morgan.

Brennan Carley

Managing Director, Platform Consulting, Refinitiv

Brennan leads the Refinitiv Platform Consulting team, responsible for consultative engagement with strategic customers. Brennan has held a range of roles at Refinitiv (formerly the Financial & Risk business of Thomson Reuters) since 2011, including leading the global Enterprise business (a $1.3B business that provides content and related services including real-time, historical, reference data, enterprise analytic services, data management platforms, and managed services), and large programs such as the companies MiFID and FRTB programs. Brennan joined Refinitiv from Proton Advisors, where he advised private equity funds, venture investors, and their portfolio companies. Brennan was part of the founding team and SVP of Product & Marketing at Spread Networks, a provider of low latency connectivity to the financial markets, and before that COO of NYFIX (later NYSE Technologies). He founded Radianz (later BT Radianz). Prior to that was SVP of Technology for Instinet, and began his career at IBM. He has been a director on the boards of companies including Marketcetera, Yipes, and Monitor110, and is an adjunct Professor of Strategy at New York University. Brennan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from New York University and has done graduate studies at Columbia University, Harvard Business School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been listed in The Trade magazine’s ranking of the “100 Most Influential People in Buy-Side Trading” and featured in the books “Architects of Electronic Trading” and in Michael Lewis’ “Flash Boys.”

Tom Davin is Managing Director, Financial Information Services Association (FISD) of the SIIA. FISD is the global, neutral forum for the financial information industry with a diverse membership that includes major market data vendors, exchanges, technology providers, and the financial institutions that utilize financial data products. Tom works closely with FISD members to identify major issues and seek opportunities to bring the financial information industry together to discuss and resolve those issues. FISD conducts regular membership events in North America, Europe, Asia, Brazil, and Australia and hosts the biennial World Financial Information Conference – the premiere global industry conference for financial information professionals.

Mike Dunne

Chief Technology Officer, Activ Financial

Mike Dunne is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of ACTIV Financial and has over 15 years of senior technology management experience. At ACTIV, Mike architected and led the development of the state-of-the-art ACTIV suite of products and managed data services, including ACTIV’s high performance enterprise distribution platform, and global low latency real-time data feed. Before ACTIV, he held senior management and software development positions with ICV Ltd / Primark / Thomson Financial, making major contributions to the design and development of the TOPIC3 and GlobalTOPIC products. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Manchester.

Antonio Goncalves

SVP Sales and Business Development, Devexperts

Before joining Devexperts, Antonio Goncalves worked for 10 years at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and its Technology Division (NYSE Technologies) as Managing Director of Strategic Clients and Latin America. Prior to that he worked for Siemens AG in Lisbon, Munich, Boca Raton, Toronto and the Silicon Valley, having launched new businesses and services for the Financial Industry in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
He is a Graduate Electrical Engineer with expertise in IT Services and Consulting, Software Solutions, Next Generation Electronic Trading Execution and Infrastructure; High Performance Market Data Platforms; Pre and Post Trade Risk Management Solutions; High Frequency Trading; and Big Data solutions. He is fluent in 8 languages, a frequent speaker at international conferences and a published author.

Yousaf Hafeez

Director, Capital Markets Development & Chair, FISD Exec Committee, BT

Yousaf is currently Head of Business Development at BT Financial Technology Services; responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with key trading venues (including Exchanges, MTFs, ECNs, PTSs and dark pools) across asset classes globally. As a result Yousaf has developed strong relationships with a number of CxOs globally and has developed an excellent understanding of their services (trading and market data). Additionally, Yousaf has established strong relationships with both the buy-side and sell-side community. Yousaf has spoken at a number of conferences on subjects ranging from low latency, emerging markets and the search for liquidity, liquidity fragmentation and blockchains applications and trends in capital markets and has written articles and been quoted in various trade publications. He supports the BT Radianz sales team on major opportunities globally and has designed and implemented a number of programs to educate the sales teams on trends and requirements in the financial services community; including topics such as dark pools, FX, FI, emerging markets trends in the market space and different trading strategies. Other experience includes marketing, product marketing and business development in telecom and IT related companies with a finance sector focus.

Mark Hepsworth

CEO, Asset Control

Mark is CEO of Asset Control a global leader in financial data management technology. Under Asset Control’s new ownership the company is focusing on product and services innovation and extending the functionality it offers through new technologies.

Prior to joining Asset Control, Mark held senior management positions with Interactive Data (now ICE Data Services), including serving as President of its Pricing & Reference Data business. During his time with the company, Mark also led Interactive Data’s Real Time Data Feeds, Fixed Income Analytics & Indices, and Wealth Management businesses, and served on their Executive Committee.

Adam Honore

Executive Director, CME Group

Adam Honoré is an Executive Director at CME Group. Previously, he was CEO at Markets Tech LLC. Prior to MarketsTech, Mr. Honoré was a managing director at NASDAQ responsible for global business development and ISV relationships for FinQloud.

Prior to NASDAQ, Mr. Honoré was the Research Director of the capital markets practice at Aite Group where he specialized in financial services technology, focusing on strategic technology initiatives associated with high performance trading, market data, machine-readable content, smart order routing, technology services, complex event processing (CEP), straight-through processing (STP), and risk management issues.

Mr. Honoré has been quoted in media publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Financial Times, Associated Press, Investor’s Business Daily, SmartMoney, the Washington Post, and Business Week, as well as industry publications such as Wall Street & Technology. He has presented at leading industry events globally.

Mr. Honoré has conducted consulting engagements for global exchanges, Fortune 500 technology and financial companies, as well as routine work in trading technology advising on partnerships, M&A, competitive positioning, product roadmaps, market entrance, marketing, and thought leadership.

Prior to joining Aite Group, Mr. Honoré was the Product Director responsible for front office solutions at Comprehensive Software Systems, Inc., including CRM, portfolio & account management, content management, and business intelligence platforms.

Prior to CSS, Mr. Honoré was responsible for development at Tucker Anthony Sutro Capital Markets, designing and creating applications for investment banking & research, including one of the early capital markets online personalized research delivery websites.

Before Tucker Anthony, Mr. Honoré was a software engineer at Strong Capital Management. While there, Mr. Honoré helped create an online brokerage platform, tools for their award winning mutual fund site, and intranet applications supporting Strong’s enterprise, including the call center.

Mr. Honoré received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a double major in Public Relations and History. He is a four-year veteran of the U.S. Army, including tours in Korea and Desert Storm. Mr. Honoré has received a citation from the Wisconsin State Legislature for charitable development work, and was Master of Ceremonies for the 1990 Missouri Special Olympics.

Bob Levy

CEO, Virtual Cove

Bob invented the company’s solution for rapidly making sense of data. He brings executive, product, marketing and R&D experience with enterprise software and data analytics vendors including MathWorks, Hancock Software, Harte Hanks, Rational Software and IBM. Bob served as founding president of the BPMA in 2001, a 6,000+ person industry group. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MBA from Dalhousie Universit

Steve Listhaus

Head of Market Data Services, Wells Fargo

Steve Listhaus manages the Market Data function for Wells Fargo. In this role Steve is responsible for all technical, operational and commercials aspects related to market data. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Steve worked at Thomson Reuters where he lead the Technical Account Management team. Prior to Thomson Reuters, Steve held a number of positions related to trading technologies.

Anthony Malakian

Editor at Large, WatersTechnology

Anthony joined Waters in October 2009. He currently serves as Editor at Large for Waters magazine and WatersTechnology.com. In this role he oversees the US-based reporters and is responsible for events and coverage in the Americas. Prior to joining Incisive Media, he was a senior associate editor covering the banking industry at American Banker for two years. Before that, he was a sports reporter at daily newspaper The Journal News.

Brian McCallion

In 2011 Brian mentioned Xignite at a presentation on cloud computing and nothing has been the same since. Known for Cloud strategy and architecture, as a hands on member of a great team Brian works with customers and his team to help capital markets firms gain an edge through adoption of Cloud technology. Brian specializes in designing, developing, and implementing AWS cloud solutions for hedge funds, market data firms, and business units in larger financial firms.

Nick Merritt

Nick joined FISD in May 2007 and works with members focused on anti-piracy of market data, data provider contract licenses and policies as well as communication among participants in the market data industry. In addition, he serves as the primary point of contact for the Data Vendor Constituent Group and the Index Forum Group. Prior to joining FISD Nick was employed with the American Bankers Association from 2002-2007 and with The NASDAQ Stock Market from 1987 – 2001 where he served as Senior Director Issuer Services. Nick holds a BA from The University of Mississippi and an MBA from The George Washington University.

Mr. Roe is responsible for developing innovative solutions that increase visibility and operational efficiency while maximizing ROI. He also leads a professional services team which advises and executes on enterprise audit, transformation, optimization, and development initiatives.

Tracey Shumpert

Vice President of Membership and Programs, FISD

Tracey Shumpert is Vice President of Membership and Progams at FISD, where she seeks to constantly improve the FISD member experience and to broaden the FISD community. She is the program manger for the World Financial Information Conference, the Alternative Data Council, Lunch & Learn and Women’s Group activities.

Prior to FISD Tracey was senior events manager at FIX Trading Community and before that, she held various roles at Bloomberg. Tracey holds a BA in Comparative Literature at Smith College and an MA in English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University.
