David Anderson
Program Director, FISD/Atradia
David Anderson is a well know market data consultant. He has worked in the market data industry since 1984 – including roles with Telerate, Bishopsgate Systems and from 1989 13 years with Reuters culminating in various global marketing roles; in respect of market data systems (e.g. Triarch and RMDS). Since January 2002 David has been operating Atradia (www.atradia.com), a management consultancy practice focused on the market data industry. He has been quoted commenting on the market data industry in major publications. David edited the respected annual ‘IMD Reference’ book between 2003 and 2009. He instigated the SIIA/FISD initiative to create a professional certification program for market data practitioners. David also acts as a Program Director for a variety of other FISD activities including EMEA focussed events; the Exchange Constituent Group (ECG); the FISD Technology Forum; the FISD Buy Side Group; and the FISD Cloud Working Group. David and Atradia operate from the glorious countryside of West Sussex UK.

Glenn Bedwin
COO, Absolute Strategy Research
Glenn has worked closely with the investment research market for over 30 years in a variety of roles including product management and design, business strategy, commercial and operational management and research procurement. He has worked in senior roles at Datastream, Thomson Financial and Fidelity International as well as providing consultancy services to a variety of independent research firms and hedge funds. Glenn is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Absolute Strategy Research, the market leading independent investment strategy/macro research house. He has responsibility for ensuring that ASR continues to demonstrate strong profitable growth. In particular he is focused on continuing to match appropriate processes and technologies in research design, production, distribution and assessment with a strong commercial model. He also sits on the board of EuroIRP, the European trade association of Independent Research Providers. Over many years he has had extensive involvement with UK and European regulators over the development of the research market and currently has a particular focus on the implications for the global research market of MIFID II.
Jamie Coombs
Market Development Manager, Investing & Advisory, Refinitiv
Jamie Coombs leads Market Development in Europe North for Asset & Investment Management, and in this role liaises with industry on the major challenges they are facing. Recently this has involved working with firms on their response to MiFID II, addressing challenges including research unbundling and data consumption and reporting. Previous roles at Thomson Reuters include Head of Permissioning for Europe, and Global Product Manager for Investment Management.
Martijn Groot
Vice President of Product Strategy and Management, Asset Control
Martijn Groot is responsible for marketing, strategy and corporate development at Asset Control. Martijn has 20 years of experience in financial data management on both the consumer and the vendor side. Martijn started working life at ABN AMRO in IT and risk systems. After that he worked at Asset Control, iGATE and Euroclear in product management and business development roles. Martijn has written extensively about financial information management, holds an MSc in mathematics from VU University Amsterdam and an MBA from Insead.
Mark Howarth
Market Structure & Strategy, Bloomberg LP
Mark’s background is in European and Asian equity markets. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he was CEO of the stock exchange business Chi-X Europe and COO of Chi-X Global. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in London, and spent time at UBS before moving to Instinet, where he worked in London and Asia building their cross border trading franchise and was MD of the Asia-ex-Japan business.
John Mason
Global Head Enterprise Middle and Back Office, Refinitiv
John Mason is the Global Head Enterprise Middle and Back Office at Refinitiv. In this role, John and his team are responsible for ensuring that Refinitiv are effectively addressing the industry’s regulatory challenges – of which MiFID is a particular focus area – and developing solutions across the entire product range to meet the evolving requirements of the financial market participants.
Prior to joining Refinitiv, John ran the European Enterprise Solutions for Bloomberg and was also their Global Head of Regulatory Reporting. Before joining Bloomberg, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Core One Technologies prior to its sale to Markit.
Conor Sheehan
Market Data Regional Manager, Capital Group Research Inc
Conor Sheehan has been at Capital Group based in London for the past 11 years and is currently Market Data Regional Manager. Conor is also responsible for global product support at Capital Group with a focus on market data product research and training coordination. Over a 25 year career Conor has previously led teams in administration and inventory management and has had Market Data Analyst responsibilities for Asset Management, Investment Management and Private Client departments. Conor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University College Cork Ireland in Economics and Applied Psychology.
Tracey Shumpert
Vice President of Membership and Programs, FISD
Tracey Shumpert is Vice President of Membership and Progams at FISD, where she seeks to constantly improve the FISD member experience and to broaden the FISD community. She is the program manger for the World Financial Information Conference, the Alternative Data Council, Lunch & Learn and Women’s Group activities.
Prior to FISD Tracey was senior events manager at FIX Trading Community and before that, she held various roles at Bloomberg. Tracey holds a BA in Comparative Literature at Smith College and an MA in English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University.

Mark Woolfenden is the Managing Director of Euromoney TRADEDATA, a division of Euromoney Global Limited. Euromoney TRADEDATA is the premier supplier of reference data for the futures and options market to investment banks and institutions worldwide, covering all listed products on the world’s derivatives exchanges. Core services include daily delivery of contract and symbology data files and provision of online interactive data services. Euromoney TRADEDATA has innovated data solutions that have enabled new business and for its clients and advanced the competitive dynamics of the industry.
Mark runs the division, represents the company at key industry forums and manages relations with clients and other industry participants including the vendor community. Mark has had extensive experience of providing complex and technical outsourced services to business within the deregulated UK energy markets, running a specialist contributed information exchange data business for global agricultural manufacturers and his current role involving worldwide futures, options and OTC cleared markets. Mark has wide experience in managing customer relationships and new product development and has also served on a number of industry panels and working groups, which have covered regulatory frameworks, technical issues and market enabling solutions.
Thomas Yasin

Thomas Yasin is the UK Sales Manager for the Research Solutions Group at FactSet and is responsible for selling FactSet’s Research products into the EMEA Financial Services community, including Investment Management, Asset Allocation and Sell-Side. Thomas holds a unique perspective on the industry having held senior positions in Sales and Technology Consulting across Research and Buy-Side trading software providers. Prior to joining FactSet in 2015, Thomas held the post of Managing Director EMEA of Code Red Inc, an independent provider of Research Management solutions. This followed a successful tenure as a Business Consultant for Eze Software Group, a provider of Order Management Systems (OMS) to Buy-Side investment managers. Thomas graduated with a BSc Hons in Computer Science from Aston University, Birmingham.
