David Anderson
Program Director, FISD/Atradia
David Anderson is a well know market data consultant. He has worked in the market data industry since 1984 – including roles with Telerate, Bishopsgate Systems and from 1989 13 years with Reuters culminating in various global marketing roles; in respect of market data systems (e.g. Triarch and RMDS). Since January 2002 David has been operating Atradia (www.atradia.com), a management consultancy practice focused on the market data industry. He has been quoted commenting on the market data industry in major publications. David edited the respected annual ‘IMD Reference’ book between 2003 and 2009. He instigated the SIIA/FISD initiative to create a professional certification program for market data practitioners. David also acts as a Program Director for a variety of other FISD activities including EMEA focussed events; the Exchange Constituent Group (ECG); the FISD Technology Forum; the FISD Buy Side Group; and the FISD Cloud Working Group. David and Atradia operate from the glorious countryside of West Sussex UK.
Stephane Dubois
Founder and CEO, Xignite
Named twice to the Institutional Investor’s Tech 50 list of financial visionaries and innovators, Stephane Dubois is a recognized financial data industry executive who founded Xignite to Make Market Data Easy. Stephane Dubois is a well-known fintech thought leader and is frequently quoted in publications, including Forbes, MarketsMedia, WallStreet & Technology, Financial News, Bob’s Guide, Inside Reference Data, and Venture Capital Journal. He has spoken at numerous fintech events around the world, including Finovate, FinDEVr, Bank Innovation, Next Money, World Exchange Conf., World Finance Information Conf. and The Money Conference. Prior to founding Xignite, Stephane was Vice President of Product Management at Advent Software, the leading provider of software solutions for the investment management industry. Prior to Advent, Stephane held senior product and marketing management positions at Walker Interactive Systems and Oracle Corporation. Stephane holds an MS in Management from M.I.T. Sloan School of Management and MS and BS degrees in international management from the MBA Institute in Paris.
Bryan Lenker
VP, Director of Client Technology and Solutions, FactSet
Bryan Lenker is Director of Client Technology and Solutionsa t FactSet. With over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, Bryan’s goal is to position FactSet as one of the leading managed services providers. He oversees key initiatives related to expanding FactSet’s feed deployment model as well as future content development efforts. He works extensively with redistributors, partners, and quantitative analysts to integrate FactSet’s content — constantly seeking new datasets and ideas of interest to the financial community. Bryan is a CFA charterholder.
Stacy Mallon
Director Infrastructure and Security, Vela
Stacy Mallon is Vela’s Director of Infrastructure and Security, responsible for a global team supporting the infrastructure and security from both a network and systems perspective for all corporate, development, and production environments on a 24×7 basis across its locations worldwide. Stacy joined Vela through its acquisition of NYSE Technologies’ Wombat business where she worked as Technical Project Manager for the SuperFeed market data product since 2012. During the acquisition of the NYSE Technologies, Stacy managed a large number of technical integration projects and since then moved into the Infrastructure & Security area, holding her current position for over five years. Stacy has a solid engineering background having previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Asidua before joining NYSE Euronext and also working as a Financial Engineer at First Derivatives prior to that. Based in Belfast, Stacy wears a number hats from being responsible for the overall network and systems architecture and design of Vela hosted products, development and corporate environments and daily operation of these to the management and architecture of security processes. These include the deployment of third-party services to assist in the continued management of security and Business Continuity Management Planning (BCMP). She also ensures the compliance of processes and policies and the completion of annual security audits from different clients and vendors which are of critical importance in the financial and banking industry. She also holds the role of the Data Protection Officer to ensure that the firm adheres and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Stacy has played a leading role in Vela’s cloud adoption in recent years and has been an advocate for cloud technologies and solutions within the company. Stacy received the 2018 Markets Media Women in Finance award for Excellence in Service Providers. She holds a MSci Mathematics and Computer Science from Queen’s University Belfast.
Svetla Marinova
Fintech Strategic Partnerships, AWS Financial Services
Svetla is an experienced FinTech innovation strategist with expertise in the use of unstructured, ESG, and alternative data to enable investment decisions through Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing. She currently manages Technology Partnerships for Financial Services at Amazon Web Services where she is responsible for expanding Amazon’s Partner Network to include and grow fintechs of strategic value. She started her career in FinTech as a founding member and primary business analyst of the S&P Global Innovation Lab. She then led the Innovation Lab of APG Asset Management in New York, and was most recently a part of Grant Thornton’s FinTech innovation solutioning initiative, where she focused on sustainable investing and digital transformation efforts for the Asset Management vertical. Svetla holds a BA in Economics from Adelphi University’s Honors College, a Master’s in Climate and Society from Columbia University, where she was also a Research Fellow at the Earth Institute, and an Executive MBA from The Wharton School. She is also a Money 20/20 Europe 2019 Rise Up Academy alumna, a Standout35 on the Innovate Finance Women in FinTech Powerlist for 2019, on the list of 50 Inspiring Fintech Females by NYC Fintech Women for 2019, a published author, conference speaker, content curator, and advisor for Holt Fintech Accelerator. Her volunteer efforts focus on STEM initiatives and mentoring for not-for-profits such as FIRST Robotics, NFTE, Year Up, Girls in Tech, and Built by Girls.
