Julie Hutchinson

Capital Markets Business Development – Exchanges & Trading Platforms , Amazon Web Services

Julie Hutchinson is the Capital Markets Segment Lead for Global Financial Solution Partners at AWS. She is responsible for defining strategy to grow the partner community and to accelerate cloud adoption among hedge funds, exchanges, asset/wealth managers, and financial information providers worldwide.. Most recently, she has been supporting exchanges, content providers, and industry utilities in their efforts to deliver, process, store, and analyze financial content on AWS. Julie has 18 years of experience supporting financial institutions and brings a unique perspective from having worked for network, extranet, and datacenter providers. She brings a deep understanding of the challenges related to migrating from legacy technology, and she uses that expertise to help guide organizations along their cloud journey. Prior to joining AWS, she was Head of Capital Markets Solutions for the US division of Colt Technology. She has also held business development roles at Equinix and Telx (Digital Realty). Julie has participated in and moderated panels for NJ Technology Council, FISD, STA-NY on Women in Technology, Market Data2.0, and MIFID II.

Bob Iati

Director of Market Data Research, Burton-Taylor

Robert Iati is Burton-Taylor’s Director of Market Data Research and Strategic Consulting. He has more than 30 years of experience, including a position as Partner & Global Head of Consulting Services for TABB Group, Research Director for TowerGroup’s Capital Markets practice and VP at Lehman Brothers and at Deutsche Bank.
Bob has appeared on CNN, CNBC, and CBS TV, and has been quoted in Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, & The New York Times. Bob also served on the faculty of the New York Institute of Finance and has lectured at NYU and at SIFMA’s Securities Industry Institute workshop for the Wharton School of Business.

Rob Morse

Head of Data Strategy and Sourcing, PDT Partners

Rob Morse is the Head of Data Strategy and Sourcing at PDT Partners, a quantitative hedge fund with $7bn in assets, based in New York City. He is chiefly responsible for sourcing datasets and working across research and technology groups to empower PDT’s model development. Previously, Rob was a Director of Sales Engineering at Orbital Insight Inc. and prior to that was an Equity Derivatives Trader at Goldman Sachs.

Additionally, Rob volunteers as a Co-Chair of the Young Professional Council for The Doe Fund; a non-profit that strives to help homeless and formerly incarcerated individuals achieve permanent self-sufficiency, is a member of the Young Patron’s Board for Yellowstone Forever, and is an Associate Board Member for Covenant House International.

He gained his B.S in Physics from Yale University and currently sits on the Alumni Board of Yale Rugby. He was a recipient of the Richard U. Light Fellowship for the study of Mandarin in Beijing, and received awards for leadership in and contributions to his residential college community. As part of his thesis, Rob co-authored Volcanic Tremors and Magma Wagging: Gas Flux Interactions and Forcing Mechanism (published in Geophysics Journal International, August 2013), which presents a multi-faceted Bernoulli and pressure foam model for unexplained pre-eruption volcanic tremors.

Evert-Jan ten Brundel

Global Head, Customer Delivery Services, TRG Screen

Evert-Jan is the management team – member with global responsibility for all delivery of managed service, expert assistance and projects within TRG Screen. Previously, he ran Market Data Consultancy at Screen Consultants. Prior to TRG Screen Evert-Jan held senior commercial and operational roles at Global Insight (now IHS Markit), MSCI and Datastream (now Refinitiv).

Tracey Shumpert

Vice President of Membership and Programs, FISD

Tracey Shumpert is Vice President of Membership and Progams at FISD, where she seeks to constantly improve the FISD member experience and to broaden the FISD community. She is the program manger for the World Financial Information Conference, the Alternative Data Council, Lunch & Learn and Women’s Group activities.

Prior to FISD Tracey was senior events manager at FIX Trading Community and before that, she held various roles at Bloomberg. Tracey holds a BA in Comparative Literature at Smith College and an MA in English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University.
