David Anderson

David Anderson is a well know market data consultant. He has worked in the market data industry since 1984 – including roles with Telerate, Bishopsgate Systems and from 1989 13 years with Reuters culminating in various global marketing roles; in respect of market data systems (e.g. Triarch and RMDS). Since January 2002 David has been operating Atradia (www.atradia.com), a management consultancy practice focused on the market data industry. He has been quoted commenting on the market data industry in major publications. David edited the respected annual ‘IMD Reference’ book between 2003 and 2009. He instigated the SIIA/FISD initiative to create a professional certification program for market data practitioners. David also acts as a Program Director for a variety of other FISD activities including EMEA focussed events; the Exchange Constituent Group (ECG); the FISD Technology Forum; the FISD Buy Side Group; and the FISD Cloud Working Group. David and Atradia operate from the glorious countryside of West Sussex UK.
Joshua Carroll
Managing Director, Global Head of Shared Application Services, RBC Capital Markets
Joshua Carroll joined RBC in the UK in April 2009, initially running the London & Asia Market Data Team. Joshua relocated with RBC to NY in January 2014 having taken over the role of Global Head of Market Data Operations and Engineering in November 2013. Josh joined RBC from Merrill Lynch where he was Head of Market Data Operations for EMEA. During his time with RBC – he has at times also held several other dual roles in addition to his Market Data responsibilities – Head of Infrastructure Applications (covering Global Monitoring & Databases) and London Unix Manager.
Stephane Dubois
Founder and CEO, Xignite
Named twice to the Institutional Investor’s Tech 50 list of financial visionaries and innovators, Stephane Dubois is a recognized financial data industry executive who founded Xignite to Make Market Data Easy. Stephane Dubois is a well-known fintech thought leader and is frequently quoted in publications, including Forbes, MarketsMedia, WallStreet & Technology, Financial News, Bob’s Guide, Inside Reference Data, and Venture Capital Journal. He has spoken at numerous fintech events around the world, including Finovate, FinDEVr, Bank Innovation, Next Money, World Exchange Conf., World Finance Information Conf. and The Money Conference. Prior to founding Xignite, Stephane was Vice President of Product Management at Advent Software, the leading provider of software solutions for the investment management industry. Prior to Advent, Stephane held senior product and marketing management positions at Walker Interactive Systems and Oracle Corporation. Stephane holds an MS in Management from M.I.T. Sloan School of Management and MS and BS degrees in international management from the MBA Institute in Paris.
Stuart Roberts
VP, Head of Market Data Transformation, DBS Bank
Stuart is the head of Market Data Transformation for DBS Bank. Joining the organization in 2012 Stuart implemented a centralized market data management structure for the organization. Stuart has over 20 years market data and trade floor technology experience and previously worked for a number of different firms including Citigroup and Schroders.
Ilya Slavin
Executive Director, JP Morgan
Ilya Slavin leads Global Market Data Engineering at JP Morgan Chase. Beyond unique challenges involved in managing this complex Big Data set, his group leads the Finance industry in areas like Digital Rights Management and Open Digital Rights Language, elastic access to streaming data, and policy as code. Ilya is JPMC’s Prolific Inventor and has received one US Patent for SnapCache, with over a dozen filings in flight. Ilya is a recent migrant to DFW Metroplex, where he resides with his wife and three children.
