“Moderating a Panel” – Video Training Series

Panels are the meat and potatoes of FISD events. Moderating these panels is definitely not straightforward – there are many perils and pitfalls that a moderator could fall into. Recognizing all of this prompted FISD to invest into providing help and guidance for anyone kind and brave enough to be a moderator. How do you work in the weeks and days leading up to a panel? How do you guide and prepare your panelists before they all step on stage? Once the auspicious day arrives and you are on stage, how do you get the conversation flowing but avoid those dreaded sales pitches or microphone hogs (you know who you are). Two short and easy to follow videos starring the shy and retiring David Anderson provide insights and guidance – informative but not prescriptive. We hope you enjoy! Member login required.
